Effective Date: January 10, 2026
1. Our Philosophy on Data At IfThenWhy™, we believe your "Tribal Knowledge" is your most valuable asset. Unlike traditional platforms that harvest data to train public AI models, our framework is built on the principle of Data Sovereignty. We provide logic; we do not own your insights.
2. Data Collection & Usage We collect minimal personal data necessary to provide the IfThenWhy™ methodology. This includes:
Voluntary Information: Data you provide via contact forms, account registration, or licensing agreements.
Service Data: Technical data collected by our hosting platform, Squarespace, including IP addresses, browser types, and device identifiers necessary for site security and functional performance.
Purpose: We use this data strictly for site administration, security, and delivering requested services.
3. The IfThenWhy™ Data Boundary We do not use your personal information to train third-party AI models. Any "Tribal Knowledge" or logic you develop using our framework remains your exclusive property. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or AI fine-tuning.
4. Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) Compliance In accordance with Fla. Stat. § 501.701 et seq., users (specifically Florida residents) have the following rights:
Right to Access & Correction: Request a portable copy of your data or request corrections to inaccuracies.
Right to Deletion: Request that we delete personal information we have collected.
Right to Opt-Out of Profiling: We do not engage in automated profiling or "surveillance" as defined by 2026 Florida statutes.
Response Time: We will respond to verified requests within 45 days.
5. Age Verification The IfThenWhy™ framework and website are intended for professional use by adults. In compliance with Florida’s expanded definition of a minor, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 18.
6. Sovereign AI Boundary We advocate for the use of "Zero-Retention" AI environments. Any data processed through our official tools is protected by a sovereign boundary, ensuring it is not ingested into public Large Language Models (LLMs).
